One last update in 2009
Phew…this has been a busy year for sure. Since the last update we did full productions for Modern (Black?) Metallers Blutmond from Switzerland as well as German Gothic Metal Band Coronatus. November saw us mixing Old School Black Metal from Goat Funeral. Right now The Vision Bleak are putting the finishing touches on their new Album Set Sail To Mystery. Just a few mixes to go. I wish everybody who reads this a successful and inspiring 2010 and some relaxing X-Mas days.
Another Update!
The Vision Bleak finished the first part of their recording sessions. Check a video from the recordings here! Furthermore recording sessions with french Alcest (to be mixed elsewhere), German Kammercore Ensemble Remember Twilight (to be mixed next week) and German Black/Death Metal Band Badoc (mixed as you read this!) have been successfully finished. And since work doesn’t stop we are looking forward to recording/mixing sessions with Blutmond from Switzerland, Coronatus from Germany, Goatfuneral from Germany and of course the finishing of The Vision Bleak’s new Opus!
News, News, News…
Lots of exciting things happening here. We finished the mix for Eisregen’s Live Album since the last update. Secrets Of The Moon’s “Priviliegium” is mixed and finished after lots of work we put into it and we renewed parts of the studio! We rearranged the control room and put lots of acoustic treatment into it + rebuild part of the recording room! Lots of work but worth every minute we put into it. Everything looks and sounds stunning! Check out the photos below. And because good news don’t stop: The Vision Bleak are in the studio right now composing/recording their new, yet untitled forth album! We keep you posted!
Ahab mix finished!
German extrem doomers AHAB have been here the past week to mix their new album with me. This turned out monstrous! The Band and I are both very satisfied…Be sure to check it out once it hits the streets!
Secrets Of The Moon Recordings finished…
…well, almost at least! The Band will be back for some additional recordings and then its time to mix this bastard! I had a great, creative session with them and think the album will fulfill highest hopes. Expect some pitch black darkness at its best! And great moustaches!

First Update 2009!
Again lots of stuff happening here since December 2008! We recorded, mixed and mastered “Galeere”, the new album by German Ambient Black Metallers Geist which turned out really atmospheric. We mastered the Audio CD for the Book “Swedish Death Metal” to be released on Index Verlag. That was 3 CDs full of nostlagic memories from the early nineties. Fun stuff! Furthermore we mixed the great album by French Avantgarde Metal/Wave/Postrock Band Amesoeurs which were here for recording in November already, You MUST checkout this album! We also started mixing for a Double Live CD for Eisregen and finally just two days ago finished the Mix for a 4 Song EP by German Gothic Metal hopefuls Dievotion. This band could become big so watch out! As you see busy, busy times and Secrets Of The Moon are just knocking on the door to record the follow up to their highly acclaimed “Antithesis” Album. We keep you up to date!
Neun Welten Album finished!
We have just finished recording/mixing and mastering Neun Welten’s second album to be released on Prophecy Productions next year. Here’s an impression from the mixing session…Jever and Folk makes a good match!
It was a blast!
The recordings for Maroon’s new album are finished. The band and us are both very satisfied with the results and the drive is sent off to Mr. Nordström in Sweden for the mix. Be sure to check that album out once it hits the streets! It turned out real killer! In the meantime you can check their site for some nice studio footage!
Finally, an update!
Wow, after two years with no update we finally managed to do something about that and relaunch the studio site. In the meantime we had a lot of work and did quite some upgrades to the studio - check Equipment list for the details.
Impossible to write down everything we did since 2007 but in that year we produced i.e. Eisregen’s “Blutbahnen”, mixed the audiobook for “The Satanic Bible“, produced Helrunar’s “Baldr Ok Iss”, Mourning Beloveth’s “A Disease For The Ages”, Noekk’s “The Minstrel’s Curse” and Midnattsol’s “Nordlys” and not to forget did The Vision Bleak’s “The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey”.
2008 has been another busy year with Album Productions for primitive Black Metal Dies Fyck/Goatfuneral, Sleazy Rock by The Hellectric, another Eisregen Chartbreaker “Knochenkult”, Gothic Metal by Coronatus and their “Porta Obscura” Album, Old School Black Metal by Creature, the Audiomix for Dornenreich’s Live Show at the Summer Breeze Festival, Autumnblaze’s new album, recordings for French Avantgarde Metal Band Amesoeurs (to be mixed in 2009) and right now working with Extreme Metallers Maroon on their new album (check their site for some nice studio footage) and more will come in form of Albums by Neun Welten and Geist…busy times, as said, and we promise to keep this more updated too!
